SMS program & consent

Parish text notifications

Nave sends parish notifications by text message (SMS) to parishioners who choose to receive them. Texting is strictly opt-in: a parishioner must add their own mobile number and turn it on — no number is ever added without that explicit action. This page is the program's public consent disclosure.

How you opt in

In your parish's Nave member portal (My Account → Communications), or on your parish preference page, add your mobile number and check “Text me (SMS).” The opt-in form looks like this:

Example of the opt-in form — the live form is in each member's Nave account.

What you'll receive

  • Reminders for events you've signed up for and serving at Mass
  • The weekly bulletin (if you opt in)
  • Emergency and closure alerts from your parish

Message frequency varies. Message & data rates may apply.

Opt out & help

  • Stop: reply STOP to any text, or turn off SMS in your Nave account.
  • Resubscribe: reply START.
  • Help: reply HELP, visit nave.live, or email admin@nave.live.

Privacy: Your mobile number is used only to deliver the parish notifications you opt into. Carriers and mobile-opt-in data are never sold or shared with third parties for marketing. See our Privacy Policy and Terms of Service.
