Our Story
St. Joseph Catholic Church is a vibrant, bilingual parish family in Manor, Texas, part of the Diocese of Austin. The Catholic faith has been celebrated in Manor since 1876, and the parish church of St. Joseph since 1916. Rooted in the Word of God and the Eucharist, our community lives the Four Pillars of Stewardship — Hospitality, Prayer, Formation, and Service — as English- and Spanish-speaking families worship, learn, and serve side by side. As our parish grows, we are taking joyful steps toward building a new church home for the generations to come.

Fr. Henry Cuellar Jr.
Meet our pastor
Fr. Henry Cuellar Jr. grew up in Manor and now serves as Pastor of St. Joseph — a homecoming to the very community that helped form his faith. A priest of the Diocese of Austin, he shepherds a bilingual parish family with a heart for evangelization, the sacraments, and walking alongside families in both English and Spanish.

Religious Education Registration Is Open
Classes for children and families — in English and Spanish — help our young people grow in faith and prepare for the sacraments. Weekly parent formation is part of the journey. Register through the parish office.

Since 2004, leading evangelization retreats and adult catechesis and fostering small faith communities that grow in enthusiasm and love for God.
Forming children and families to grow in their relationship with Jesus Christ and prepare for the sacraments — with classes in English and Spanish and weekly parent formation.
Preparing youth and adults to receive the sacraments of Confirmation and First Holy Communion and complete their initiation into the Church.
Accompanying parents and godparents as they prepare to celebrate the Baptism of their children in the life of the Church.
