Service & Outreach
Choirs that lead the assembly in sung prayer at our English and Spanish liturgies.
Host fellowship after Mass — coffee, refreshments, and a warm welcome for newcomers.
Provide confidential, direct help — food, rent, and utility assistance — to neighbors in need.
Accompany grieving families: help plan the funeral liturgy and host the reception.
Securely count, record, and deposit the weekly offertory, always in teams of two or more.
Faith Formation
Forming children and families to grow in their relationship with Jesus Christ and prepare for the sacraments — with classes in English and Spanish and weekly parent formation.
Preparing youth and adults to receive the sacraments of Confirmation and First Holy Communion and complete their initiation into the Church.
Accompanying parents and godparents as they prepare to celebrate the Baptism of their children in the life of the Church.
Accompany adults preparing to enter the Catholic Church through the Order of Christian Initiation.
Form teens in faith and friendship through gatherings, service projects, and retreats.
Liturgical
Extraordinary Ministers of Holy Communion (EMHCs) — commissioned lay ministers who assist the priest and deacon in distributing the Body and Blood of Christ at Mass, and who carry Holy Communion to parishioners who are sick, homebound, or in the hospital. Ministers are trained, commissioned by the pastor, and serve on a regular rotation with reverence and care.
Trained servers — often youth — who assist the priest at the altar: carrying the cross and candles, presenting the gifts, and helping at the credence table.
Welcome parishioners, seat latecomers, take up the collection, guide the Communion procession, and hand out bulletins.
The "Mass captain" for each liturgy — confirms every liturgical minister is present, fills gaps, and keeps the celebration running smoothly.
Prepare the altar, vessels, vestments, and liturgical books before Mass and restore the sanctuary afterward.
