Funerals

When someone you love has died — who to call, and what happens next.

At St. Mary, grieving families will find comfort as they plan their loved one’s funeral. The first step is to meet with the funeral home of your choice.

If you are not using a funeral home, call the parish office and ask for Debbie Pelliccione, who will help you schedule a service. Once the services are scheduled, a priest will meet with your family to offer condolences and to plan the funeral.

Debbie schedules the musicians for the Mass, and a musician will contact you to discuss the music. Musicians are available to play in English and Spanish. Mariachis are welcome; please discuss them with the priest in advance.

If your loved one will be laid to rest at St. Mary Cemetery, make an appointment to meet with Debbie once the location in the cemetery has been chosen.
